The following resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Huff;

WHEREAS, the Roscommon county Board of County Road Commissioners has for years been following a consistant policy providing that no public road and no dedicated street in a recorded plat leading to or along any of the lakes or streams in Roscommon county would be vacated by the Road Commission; and

WHEREAS, it is the understanding and belief of the present Commissioners that this policy was enjoined upon this Commission sometime in the 1940's by the Roscommon County Board of Supervisors, which appointed the Commissioners to office; and

WHEREAS, numerous instances of the following of this policy appeared in the minutes of this Board, but the Clerk has not been able to find the original general form of adoption of the policy;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that it has been and will now continue to be the policy of the Roscommon County Board of County Road Commissioners that no public road or highway or dedicated street in a recorded plat leading to or along any of the lakes or streams in Roscommon County shall be vacated by resolution of the Roscommon County Board of County Road Commissioners.
