The Roscommon County Road Commission (RCRC) operates under the direction of five County Road Commissioners. The commissioners are elected to six year terms, during which time they set the policies for maintenance, construction, and employees.
The RCRC employs 41 people. Our Manager, Tim O'Rourke and Assistant Manager/CFO Gloria Burns, are responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the road commission, ensuring that the commissioner's set policies are carried out. The Road Foremen, responsible for road maintenance and construction projects, each have a crew of 18, consisting of mechanics, equipment operators and truck drivers.
